Welcome, all students, to Parano Academy, where students in the two houses are taught from years one throught eight. Here, your house will be your everything. The two houses, Phoenix and Siren, have been rivals since the school was founded. Journey within these walls and you'll find more than a ghost to keep you up at night.

The Phoenix house is situated in the East Wing, overlooking the ocean and the sunrise. They typically have more students then the Sirens, and they exibit much different traits. The biggest difference between the two is that Phoenix is composed of students, years 1-8, who exibit powers not usually shown by other people- Superhumans, if you will. The common room is large enough so that people who can fly can do so, and round. It's full of small things that symbolize the people that spend their time there. It's near the kitchens, so that even though the cafeteria is situated in the middle of the school, to be shared by both houses, the Phoenixes have access to lots of food. Classes consist of all sorts of elements designed to strengthen each Hero, Vigilante, Villain, and Enderling to their greatest ability. In sixth and seventh years, they start really training for the first time, and in eighth year they battle each other and the Sirens. Regarding the Sirens, friendships are not unheard of, but they are uncommon and generally looked down upon. The two houses are rivals, and no one ever bothers to say otherwise.

The Siren house is situated in the West Wing, and overlooks the greenhouse, which is next to the graveyard that had been there since before the school was founded. While it does usually have less students than Phoenix does, they show much different traits that most Phoenixes don't have. The biggest difference is that Siren is full of students who can see and communicate with the dead. There are also dead students that work alongside the living. The common room in traingular but large, and chock full of books of all subjects. Most of the rooms are dark, and there isn't an overexxesive amount of color, but most of the Sirens prefer this. Classes are usually geared towards the Seers and Necromancers, but Ghosts and Necros get a good amount of education as well. In sixth and seventh year, they train and look forward to eighth year, when they can compete and show off their abilities. Regarding the Phoenixes, friendships are not unheard of, but they are uncommon and generally looked down upon. The two houses are rivals, and no one ever bothers to say otherwise.

Ghost Ranks are the six types of ghosts that there are. All students who attend Parano Academy are AT LEAST at Sight Level White. Seers and Necromancers train to see other levels, and by Sixth Year each should be able to see Green ghosts. To graduate, Eighth years need to be able to See Blue ghosts at the very least. There are some teachers that can't See a Red ghost, and Seeing a Black ghost is unheard of.
White: Incorporeal, easily Seen, household, chose to stay after death
Yellow: Incorporeal, easily Seen, common, lost souls, died of natural causes but did not chose to stay
Green: Corporeal, moderately Seen, uncommon, healers, died of man-made causes and chose to stay
Blue: Incorporeal, moderately Seen, rare, magi, died of magical causes and chose to stay
Red: Corporeal, rarely Seen, very rare, ghouls, died of suicide or murder causes and chose to stay
Black: Corporeal, "never" Seen, fantasy, harbinger, died of demonic causes and did not chose to stay
